Day wise Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to the Scotland of the East. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic journey towards Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya.

En route, stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake (Barapani), one of the most picturesque lakes in Northeast India, surrounded by lush green hills and offering breathtaking views.

Upon reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the vibrant Police Bazaar, famous for local shopping, handicrafts, cafes, and street food.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit Ward’s Lake, a beautiful man-made lake located in the heart of the city, and Lady Hydari Park, known for its landscaped gardens and colorful flowers.

Continue to Don Bosco Museum, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Northeast India. Visit the Cathedral Church, one of the most prominent churches in the region.

Later, enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak, the highest point in Shillong, and visit the famous Elephant Falls, one of Meghalaya’s most visited waterfalls.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3

After breakfast, proceed towards Cherrapunji, renowned as one of the wettest places on Earth and famous for its dramatic landscapes and waterfalls.

Visit the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Eco Park, Arwah Cave, and Dainthlen Falls. Enjoy breathtaking views of deep valleys, limestone formations, and lush green surroundings.

Later, return to Shillong and spend the evening at leisure.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4

After breakfast, proceed towards Dawki, home to the crystal-clear Umngot River, one of the cleanest rivers in India.

Enjoy the stunning riverside scenery and optional boating experience. Visit the India-Bangladesh Border View Point before continuing towards Mawlynnong, popularly known as Asia’s Cleanest Village.

Explore the village surroundings and visit the famous Living Root Bridge, a unique natural wonder created by the Khasi tribes.

Later, return to Shillong.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 5

After breakfast, visit the spectacular Laitlum Canyon, known for its breathtaking panoramic views, deep gorges, and rolling hills.

Later, visit Shillong Golf Course, one of India’s oldest and most scenic golf courses. If open, visit the Air Force Museum to learn about the aviation history of Northeast India.

Spend the remaining time exploring local markets and enjoying leisure time at Police Bazaar.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 6

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Meghalaya’s waterfalls, valleys, rivers, and scenic landscapes.

On tour, Guests are requested to carry 4 photocopies (Xerox) of any Photo ID proof (Except Pan Card) i.e. Passport / Driving License / Voter’s ID along with them. Also, submit a copy of the same at the time of booking.

Terms & Conditions

1. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
2. Check-in and check-out timings will be as per hotel policy.
3. Sightseeing is subject to weather and road conditions.
4. Additional sightseeing or route changes will be chargeable.
5. Entry fees and personal expenses are not included unless mentioned.
6. Vehicle will be provided as per itinerary and not at disposal.
7. AC may be switched off in hilly areas as per safety norms.
8. Any additional expenses due to landslides, strikes or natural calamities shall be borne by guests.
9. The company is not responsible for loss of luggage or personal belongings.
10. Valid government photo ID is mandatory during the tour

Payment Policy

1. 30% advance payment required for booking confirmation.
2. 50% payment to be completed 15 days before travel date.
3. Full payment must be completed before tour commencement.
4. Travel documents will be issued after receiving the required payment.
5. Pending payments may result in suspension of services.

Cancellation Policy

1. More than 30 days before arrival: 10% cancellation charges.
2. 15–30 days before arrival: 30% cancellation charges.
3. 7–14 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charges.
4. Less than 7 days before arrival or No Show: 100% cancellation charges.
5. Supplier cancellation policies will apply for flights, trains and hotels.
